You might want to reconsider this and ask for more comments.  I had a
kickstart on a R75/5.  It was next to useless.  The 750cc engine was
simply too large to kickstart when cold.  The kick start was usable only
if the engine was already warm.  I think you will find this to be even
more true with a 1000cc engine.  If you want it for an emergency use
you'd be just as well off push starting the bike.
