We Got You A P’up-y Luv Race Truck for Valentine’s Day

Ok, we didn’t give you a truck, as such, but just take a moment on (after, #becauseroadkill) this sweet holiday to appreciate the fine 1976 Chevy Luv pickup truck that runs in the 24 Hours of LeMons with the Pinewood Dirtbags. The Dirtbags have more Luv to go around—they have a V6-powered Luv, too—but this one that raced at Barber Motorsports Park earlier in February is a simple kind of Luv with just four cylinders that burn literally tens of horsepower. You might recognize the Alloy Motors sticker on this Luv (a cousin to the Isuzu P’up), which is there because the same Oakland shop that built Dart Vader runs these Luv trucks.

That’s our play on words; who has a better automotive pun for Valentine’s Day?
