The very first Roadkill Zip-Tie Drags Presented by Fi-Tech are almost a month in the rearview now and we like to think it was a huge success, much of which can be attributed to how great Roadkill’s fans were. You fools dragged your junk from all over the country to come to Tucson Dragway and when it came time to run the Roadkill vs. Fans races, you stepped up huge. We’ve written a lot of coverage here on Roadkill, but if you want to see more great video from Tucson, we have no fewer than six Zip-Tie Drags episodes of Roadkill Extra up right now on MotorTrendOnDemand and this free one we put on the MotorTrend YouTube channel.
Somehow, neither Freiburger nor Finnegan obliterated any of the Roadkill vehicles during the Roadkill vs. Fans races and we even found a hero of the day in Jeremiah Sluyter’s bright-yellow third-generation Chevy Camaro, which took on all comers until the final when Jim Forbes’ 10-second HOT ROD Drag Week™ winning Chevy II gasser took him down. You can read all that coverage here for more, but check out Roadkill Garage and Engine Masters host Steve Dulcich talking about the racing in this free Roadkill Extra episode.
Then head over to MotorTrendOnDemand to sign up for a free 30-day trial so you can watch even Zip-Tie Drags episodes of Roadkill Extra including episodes on fan-built Roadkill model cars, zip-tie trophies, the road trip to Tucson, and much more.
