Roadkill Takes America 2015 Schedule

We are filming an episode of Roadkill, and you can come along! It’s called Roadkill Takes America We’re travelling from Auburn Hills, Michigan, to Ft. Worth, Texas, on August 16-21. Fans are encouraged to come see us at any of our stops along the way, or to follow along with us on the road. At the big stops we will have several of the Roadkill project cars on display.

We’ve mapped out the trip and planned many cool stops that are totally free for you, but you’re on your own for food, hotels, gas stops, and all that junk. We’re not doing drivers meetings or any of that kind of hand-holding. And never forget this is Roadkill, so stuff may change. Stick with Roadkill.com and the Roadkill Facebook and Twitter feeds during the week to keep in touch during the week.

That said, here’s the plan. We will plug in specific times for each day as soon as we get those smaller details ironed out.

    1. That is what I am screaming Jerry! This will give me a good dead line to get my Roadkill truck back on the road, but I don’t want to get it all fixed and miss the show.

  1. Please look into coming to the East coast next year.
I know the Rust belt doesn’t sound that fun, but during summer we have some great events such as THE REAL Flashlight Drags ! 1/8 mile on a functional airport, lots of filming space. Almost 200 cars come to race, and the only requirement is that they are street legal. Almost a thousand spectators !
I’ve been racing a 500 cubic inch mopar stroker there since I was 16 and I want to race whatever you want to bring! Please consider it a challenge, and a time to have fun and maybe shoot a show! Directly off I-79,
    Check out the website http://www.flashlightdrags.com

  3. Will catch up with you guys in Oklahoma when you come through, but.. to bring the rat or the hot rod wagon? That is the question. Maybe the wagon since you already signed the Rat, and the wagon is more of a 1/4 runner LOL.

  4. Hey guys, I run an auto technology program at an Early College and Career Center in Elizabethtown, KY. It’s all high school kids and all young, impressionable gearheads. We’re right off I65, about 45 minutes south of Louisville, on your way to Beech Bend. Any chance of you guys stopping in for a minute?

  5. My boyfriend and I just so happen to be having our own roadkill by driving up from Florida and will be in Petersburg, Mi on 8/14. We definitely have to make the extra drive to come see you guys on 8/15!!!

  6. My boyfriend is obsessed with your show and he got me totally hooked on it as well! It is one of the only car shows I watch and I actually enjoy! I have learned so much from you guys! It’s awesome! Thanks again for everything you guys do! If you can, you guys should come to the East Coast sometime! You have MotorTrend and RoadKill lovers in PA! 🙂

  7. Hey guys!
Love the show and excited to hear about the tour and everything but why no love for the West Coast? I’m all the way up in Seattle; do you have any room in your hearts to make it a little closer my way soon?

    Safe Travels,
    Christopher J. Colbert

  8. So excited about this. You will be in my hometown of Ft. Worth to end it the tour. I’m excited about y’all coming to Texas and the Coyote Drive in with all Roadkill cars would be a dream. My question is how can we secure a spot there? 200 car limit there has to be way to secure the spot in advance. If I take the time to get the transmission line leak fixed, the horn fixed, a new tire, and a radio installed to meet the deadline. I would hate to be the 201st car on the outside of the gates.
    Thanks,
    Brian Grogan

  9. Hey Freiburger and Finnegan, it looks like you guys will be coming through Cincinnati around lunchtime. I’m part owner of a tortilleria and taqueria on the north side of Cincinnati, Tortilleria Garcia. We’re the only place around that makes our corn tortillas from cooked corn, no corn meal. Stop in for lunch. You guys eat free.

      1. Great day , headed to B.G to see you all, shifter cable broke on my GTO. A great day working on my car in the rain in a stranger’s rock driveway, car on wood blocks(the oy thing that works on rock). Hope your trip is a better one and I hope to get there

        Mark

  10. Any updates on your Tulsa stop and whether the drag night is happening? I can’t make it out to Hallett that day, but I definitely want to check out the races and/or possibly register my beater Honda CRV just to say I’ve been drag racing in it.
