RK Stereo: Fu Manchu ‘Boogie Van’

With the glut of van content on the MotorTrendOnDemand recently—Dirt Every Day and Hot Rod Garage are down with vannin’—we figured that a van-themed tune would go well on the ol’ Roadkill Stereo. And what better vannin’ song is there than Fu Manchu’s “Boogie Van?” We’re spinning this one today and you can, too!

If you’re looking for more van content, consider this: a whole bunch of super-cool custom vans—including a six-wheeled Dodge with dragon murals on it—are headed to auction at Mecum Las Vegas. Normally, auctions aren’t our deal, but this is one hell of a collection. You can be truck-in ready and we suspect these vans won’t bring tons of money at auction. But we might be wrong; they are put together very well.

If you’re not into vannin’, Fu Manchu have so many great car songs that it would ordinarily be hard to pick a second for you. But hey, why not a second jam that shares (most of) a name with the shortened 1978 Lincoln Continental, the Missing Linc, that Roadkill ran on the Lemons Rally in January 2017?

Check out “Missing Link” and then let us know what other car-related jams we should spin on the ol’ stereo and add to our Roadkill playlist.
