A few weeks ago I picked up a 65 Belvedere with the Poly 318. It wasn’t running at the time but I’ve since got it running, replaced rims and tires, plugs, wires, cap, rotor and fuel filter. Well Nation, after some research I’ve discovered that my motor is not stock! I’ve never dug too deeply since it says it should be a 318… ya know a small block is a small block….. after a few cans of degreaser and some time with a wire brush. I’ve discovered it’s a 340!!! Out of a 1970 duster!
