Come See (And Race) The Roadkill Cars And Stars At the Zip-Tie Drags Ohio

You’ve seen our coverage and our ads for the Roadkill Zip-Tie Drags, so you already know that there are four upcoming events in Ohio, Tennessee, Illinois, and Arizona. You can register for any of those below.

June 30 – July 1, 2017 Summit Motorsports Park Norwalk, OH Summit Motorsports Park Registration
July 14 – July 15, 2017 Memphis International Raceway Millington, TN Memphis International Raceway Registration
September 15 – 16, 2017 Gateway Motorsports Park Madison, IL Gateway Motorsports Park Registration
January 19 – 20, 2018 Tucson Dragway Tucson, AZ Tuscon Dragway Registration

Now what if you aren’t ready to register? Maybe you aren’t sure you really want to go. Perhaps you’re waiting to see what Roadkill cars will be there, and which Roadkill hosts will be participating. Wait no longer!

Show up to the Zip-Tie Drags in Ohio and meet Freiburger, Finnegan, Dulcich, Elana, and Roadkill.com writer Eric Rood (be nice to him, and he might put your car in the magazine). Enter for a chance to race F&F  and you could end up running against the General Mayhem–assuming it’s running. Enter the car show and you might be parked right next to Stubby Bob. No matter what, you’ll have a chance to step right up to one of your favorite Roadkill rides, take photos, and see them in action/leaking oil everywhere. Here’s what we’ve got headed to Ohio.

General Mayhem

All up and running–for now, we’d say Mayhem is our most popular machine. Agree? Disagree? Come see it in person and make up your mind.

Vette Kart

Vette Kart is for sure our most copied car. Bring your version and match up in the lanes.

Stubby Bob

Our greatest win. Yes, it’s still broken. Yes, we’ll bring it anyway.

NASCARLO

It hit a wall, but nothing can stop NASCARLO!

127Behind the Scenes Roadkill 65 Blown Impala vs. Turbo Rotsun

The Crusher Impala

First introduced in the Mighty Car Mods joint episode, and perfected on the track against Rotsun, the Impala (which Freiburger doesn’t call Crusher but the rest of us do) might be a wheels-up wonder at Zip-Tie…or it might just catch fire again.

Muscle Truck

What wheels and tires are on Muscle Truck? It’s the most asked question, and the answer? Well, it’s complicated. Come see for yourself.

As it turns out, General Maintenance fit right in with all the “Mad Max” vehicles. No comment on Lieberman’s farmer’s tan.

General Maintenance

We call it our most reliable vehicle, but Elana blew the fuse at the last Zip-Ties–trying to inflate a flat tire on Draguar. That proves it’s fully Roadkill. *Jonny Lieberman not included.

Don’t you want to see all those cars in person? Don’t you want to know which–if any, make it through a whole day without breaking? Of course you do. Come on out. It’s gonna be great.

  1. I’m gonna try to make it on Saturday. Unfortunately my work schedule doesn’t allow me to get there on Friday in any capacity, but assuming I don’t have to work next Saturday (and they get that damned airbag recall done in a timely fashion) I’ll be there. Hopefully I’ll get to say hi to at least one of you.
